Every single thing we did this year was so fun, but I have decided on my top ten things:
10) Field day
9) WonderWorks field trip
8) 3 weeks of eating outside
7) Track and Field (being the videographer)
6) Teachers vs Students basketball game
5) Helping with first grade field day
4) Haunted House
3) Skype with pen pals (South Korea)
2) Awards Night
And finally, 1) Lucas bands and commercials
I am so sad because this is our last week of elementary school! This week was so fun. So first, we counted some of the money made for Lucas bands and we have made $2,300 and counting so far! Also we had our class party on Tuesday and we ate Chickfila for lunch. Also at our party we got to try some veggies from our class garden. Yesterday, Tuesday, along with the class party we also had Field day. I participated in the shoe kick, the sponge relay, and the hula hoop circle relay. On Tuesday night we had awards night. I won the math award, the presidential award, and honor roll. Week 36, our last week was so fun, but I am so sad it is all over!
This week was a very fun week! We went to KARM on Tuesday, and we got to explore the area where people sleep, the thrift store, and the kitchen chapel area. Also, we made a song for the 7-year old boy at our school with cancer! We are also finally beginning to film our movies! Week 34 was an awesome week!
Week 33 was so fun! We were supposed to have testing Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but we only had it on Tuesday and Wednesday. The scores won’t even count because whoever was in charge of our testing didn’t do so well. Also, my movie group and I continued to work on our script. Come back to my blog soon to see my movie! We also ended the week well, we had the 6th pizza party for having #1 in the nation for Ticket To Read. Week 33 was awesome and is now sadly over!
Week 32 was so awesome. We had to to do quite a bit of test prep to prepare for the upcoming week, but we had so much fun along the way. Aaron (aka www.rockyhillaaron.edublogs.org) is #1 in the nation for ticket to read. Pizza party here we come! Also, we got to take about 20 min. out of our day to watch the Rocky Hill Soul Singers perform. Week 32 was so fun!
Week 31 was definitely a week that will always be remembered! We did so many fun activities: We made some finishing touches to our songs, we continued to work on our movies, we had shaved Italian ice from Brusters in honor of Lucas, a boy who has a rare cancer at our school, and in about an hour from this post our class will be having ANOTHER pizza party for the two people in our class who have a birthday. It is finally week 30, and we had so much fun! We had a track and field meet, and I was part of the media team! Also, my friend Finley won 1st place in all of fifth grade for her piece of art from the Dogwood Art Show! Some of my friends and I are going to be making a really cool movie called The Stopwatch which I will, post soon. Week 30 over and awesome!
